Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, a Canadian-based lawyer, is the founder of  Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), a pro-Khalistan separatist group. The Indian  government has designated him a terrorist

Pannun advocates for the creation of an independent Sikh state called  Khalistan in the Indian state of Punjab. He has been accused of inciting  violence and terrorism in India.

Pannun is a controversial figure. His supporters see him as a freedom fighter, while his critics see him as a terrorist

NIA seized Khalistani terrorist house in Chandigarh  and agricultural land in Amritsar under section 33(5) of the Unlawful  Activities Prevention Act (UAPA), 1967.

Pannun is wanted by the Indian government for terrorism-related offenses. He has been living in Canada since 2002

The Indian government has warned its citizens against Pannun and his SFJ  group. The government has also accused Pannun of working with Pakistan  to destabilize India.

Pannun's future is uncertain. He is facing legal challenges in Canada and  India. It is possible that he could be extradited to India to face  trial
